Natural Interest

- The volcanic origin of this area is evidenced by its dramatic landscapes and by the numerous hot springs.

- The elevated position of the farmhouse and lack of pollution (including light pollution), enables exploration of clear night skies and would be of great interest to amateur astronomers.

- Naturalists will be intrigued by the great variety of flora and fauna in this wooded and forested region and on the costal plain and lagoons. Flamingos can be sighted on the Tuscan lagoons of the Maremma.

Valle Dei Calanchi
- The valley is within the district of Bagnoregio
- Wild boars (Cinghiale) are still roaming in the valley of the Calanchi
- The North African Crested Porcupine (Istrice) can also be found in this area.

Hot Springs
- Hot springs in a natural setting
- Free to the public Bagni di San Filippo and Saturnia

Talamone And Maremma
- The fashionable costal towns of Talamone and Porto Ercole are to be found on the Tyrrenian Coast

- The Natural Park of the Maremma that includes the isles of Giglio and Montecristo
